The Bea Hive Bash
The Bea Hive Bash is a 1967-themed celebration held on The Auditorium's iconic stage featuring creative cocktails, delicious food, an exclusive silent auction, and a live performance by the acclaimed Beatles cover band, Britain's Finest.
“The Bash” is a crowdsourced competition that brings together The Auditorium's Board of Directors, Auxiliary Board, affinity groups, longstanding constituents, new audiences, and people like you to build support for three separate categories— restoration of the building, artistic excellence presented on our stage, or community engagement and outreach programs.
Each ticket purchase and generous donation to the Bea Hive Bash (to be allocated according to your preference), will make a significant difference in assisting with a crucial tenet of The Auditorium’s mission.

About Bea Spachner
The Woman Behind “The Bea Hive Bash”

In the decades since its 1889 unveiling, The Auditorium was a wellspring for the finest artistic programming, a glittering jewel in one of the world’s greatest cities. But by the 1950s, The Auditorium had fallen into disrepair and was in danger of being demolished. A handful of visionaries recognized the promise this once-grand venue contained. These civic leaders were led by one woman, Ms. Bea Spachner, who oversaw a monumental campaign to help restore The Auditorium to its former glory.
Driven by Bea’s infectious energy, the restoration work progressed unabated and The Auditorium was slowly transformed. Finally, on a triumphant night in 1967, The Auditorium was officially reborn and reclaimed its position of prominence in the worlds of arts, culture, and architecture. The Bea Hive is a tribute to our history. It is a tribute to our rebirth. And it is a tribute to our Queen…Bea.
